About 30 students from the faculty of Chemical, Material and Environmental Engineering at Sapienza University, as a part of the chemical engineering course, were involved from March to mid-May 2018 in a training workshop at APS’ premises.
The main goals of this training were to prepare the future engineers to face all the problems related with the activities of chemical and process industries, as well as develop practical skills required to carry out a design project.
The Company thus confirms its commitment to the educational program “Learning by doing” by providing insights and guidance to the engineering students from the most important Italian Universities.
At APS, we believe it is important to prepare students for careers, by enabling them to familiarize with their potential work environments and this is the reason why we welcome the new opportunities for collaboration and growth – “I look at students as future brilliant professionals. It is exciting for me to have the opportunity to work with young people and hopefully give them some inspiration towards their future” – said Ms. Stefania Longobardi, APS’ Process & Technologies Department Head who conducted the lessons.
